Christianity is not merely a change of religion; it is a change of nature. When a person genuinely encounters Christ, something supernatural happens within them. Their desires begin to change. Their thinking changes. Their priorities change. Their speech changes. Their relationships change. The old life gradually gives way to a new one.
The Apostle Paul understood this truth. Before meeting Christ, he was a persecutor of believers. After his encounter with Jesus, he became one of the greatest apostles who ever lived. His transformed life became undeniable evidence that Jesus truly saves.
Many people may never read the Bible before they meet you, but they will read your life every day. Your character, your integrity, your love, your forgiveness, and your humility may become the first sermon they ever hear.
This does not mean believers never make mistakes. Spiritual growth is a journey. However, there should be unmistakable evidence that Christ is working within us. A believer who remains completely unchanged after professing faith should examine whether they have truly surrendered to Christ.
God did not save us merely to escape hell; He saved us to reflect His Son. Every day, the Holy Spirit is shaping us into the image of Jesus. As this transformation continues, our lives become living proof that the Gospel works.
Your greatest testimony is not simply what you say—it is who you have become through Christ.

Ask yourself:
- Am I becoming more like Jesus than I was a year ago?
- Can people around me see evidence of God's transforming power?
- Which areas of my life still need to be surrendered to Christ?
Transformation is the lifelong evidence of genuine salvation.
Prayer
Father, thank You for making me a new creation in Christ Jesus. Continue Your transforming work in my heart. Remove every habit, attitude, and desire that does not glorify You. Let my life become undeniable evidence of Your saving power. Help me to reflect Christ everywhere I go. In Jesus' name, Amen.
