There are situations where human ability reaches its limit. There are problems money cannot solve. There are situations knowledge cannot fix. There are doors connections cannot open. There are battles strength cannot win .

 

“The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
— Luke 18:27 (KJV)

 

There are circumstances where every human option has been exhausted.

These are the moments when we discover the difference between what is impossible with man and what is possible with God.

Jesus made this distinction very clearly:

“The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

Notice that Jesus did not say that everything is possible with human beings.

He said it is possible with God.

This means that the limitations of humanity do not define the limitations of God.

You may say:

“I don't have the resources.”

God says, “I am your Source.”

“I don't know how this will happen.”

God says, “I know the way.”

“There is no way out.”

God says, “I can make a way.”

“The doctors have said they have done everything they can.”

God is still sovereign.

“The situation is beyond my control.”

It has never been beyond God's control.

Faith begins when we stop measuring the possibility of the miracle by the size of our resources and begin measuring it by the greatness of our God.

The Israelites stood before the Red Sea with Pharaoh behind them.

Naturally, there was no way forward.

But God specializes in making ways where there are no ways.

Sometimes God removes the obstacle.

Sometimes He gives us strength to go through it.

Sometimes He opens an unexpected door.

Sometimes He changes the circumstances.

And sometimes He changes us in the middle of them.

But never assume that because something is impossible for you, it is impossible for God.

Your limitation is not God's limitation.

Your inability is not God's inability.

Your lack is not God's lack.

So when you reach the end of your ability, don't conclude that you have reached the end of your possibilities.

You may simply have reached the place where God's ability begins to become evident.

 

Reflection

• What situation have I concluded is impossible?

• Have I been measuring God by my resources?

• What would change if I truly believed God is able?

 

Prayer

Father, I bring every impossible situation before You. Where my ability ends, let Your power become evident. Help me to trust You beyond what I can understand or accomplish. Give me faith to believe that nothing is too difficult for You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

 

Daily Declaration

Nothing is too difficult for my God.
My limitations do not limit Him.
I will not call impossible what God can accomplish.
I trust God's power beyond my understanding.
My impossible situations are opportunities to see God's greatness.
Amen.
